So I have been out of circulation (no pun intended) for a little over a year since my father's illness.
As soon as I start getting back into the swing of things and begin the shameless self promotion of me and the goodies I make... All of a sudden I'm slapped in the face! The uncomfortable, and brutal realities of the 7 circles of magic hell (future blog) come charging at me like the bulls in Pamplona.
Why? Why? Why?
Look the coin gaffs that I make! They are made by hand... meaning I do not use a computer to make all the precision manufacturing of the whatever gaff... I DO NOT use computer numerical control! (CNC) (If you don't know what that is, give it a google... it will do you a world of good).
Every body and their mother seems to want something for nothing.
SO THE ANSWER IS NO!!!! I will not go down on my price or below market value!
Please if you cant afford my goodies, then you can't afford them. I understand that you want to be associated with the all the bragging rights, and the ego boost that it is to have good quality gaffs, but you know what..... ? Thats what makes them good quality gaffs! Dedication, skill, patience, know how, fine raw materials, and YES all that stuff does not come cheap... You want cheap crap go get your gaffs from china (at your own risk).
Look! Its really simple! There are as many of us "coin gaffers" per say as there are fingers and toes on your body, and by that I mean in the entire world!!!! You know the big blue marble that we all live in.
There are manufactures and there are craftsmen/Artist.
And you know what?
The numbers for each are pretty scarce.
Lets see the list shall we? - The names have been omitted in order to protect the innocent, and to prevent the uncontrolled propagation of "magic beff" -
There is that one company that also does aerospace stuff in Arcadia, California. Then we have the one in Pennsylvania, and one is in Argentina. Then we follow with the Canadian, and the Nederlander, Frenchman, and big man Japan... Then the one that makes what he makes for the U.K. landers. And so we continue with Todd, Jaime, and Joe... also there is that sleepy one in Auburn, Ca.
Finally Mr. Azteca in Mexico (about to retire).
Oh yes and me .... I almost forgot little o'l me...
And thats it! 14 as far as I know... thats 14 for 7.027 billion people...
