I like my performance environments to be challenging, full of unexpexted happenings, and most certainly not a common environment for close up magic.
For most off the readership who are non magicians this is a little writing that will give you an entry way into what makes my close up performing environment as I like to refer to it my crucible.
For most off the readership who magicians maybe this is a little writing that will give you abetter understanding as to why it is artistic and developmental suicide to alway remain in the same performance environment, in other words to never leave you comfort zone.
are not just birthday parties, living rooms, or your crappy local magic meeting groups.
If you just do this shit in the above mentioned environments... I strongly advice you get the fuck out of your comfort zone one way or another.
This is what my training grounds are... a most diabolical obstacle course for the navigation of close up performance.
Low light and intermittent light levels
Deafening loud music
Variant levels of intoxication in the Audience
Completely unexpected audience every single time
Sink or swim bitchesssssssssssssssssssssss!
